GRANIZADO DE LIMÓN. LEMON SLUSH

HEALTH AND PLEASURE IN A GLASS. LEMON PROPERTIES

Servings: 2 l = 15 plastic glasses filled to top

INGREDIENTS

·         1 bottle of cold water ( 1,5 l)

·         6 lemons and their zest

·         400g sugar

STEPS
Wash six lemons. Take a big pot. Grate the lemons (but only the skin because the white part underneath bitters). Let the zest fall inside the pot. Add the sugar. Squeeze six lemons and add the juice. Heat the pot and turn the fire up for seven minutes. After this step, it should look like a syrup. Turn off the heat. Add water and stir to integrate everything. Strain a little bit. Fill plastic glasses with the lemon slush. Cover each plastic glass with shrink wrap and put them inside the freezer for an hour. Stir them and put them again inside the freezer for an extra 1,30h. Then, it is ready to serve!

Enjoy it!
